The Honest Lawyer Hotel, Durham
The Honest Lawyer gave me my first job after leaving school! I had a great time working here from 2007 until 2014, and I'm still on excellent terms with the management and owners - you'll regularly find me here in the bar enjoying an excellent cup of coffee!I recommend this hotel for people who are exploring Durham on walking holidays and are looking for a comfortable room for the night. The hotel's pet-friendly rooms are arranged in a motel-style layout, so you can access your room straight away. Free parking is also on offer for every room - something that many hotels in Durham don't offer, and charge as much as £20 per night if they do.You can enjoy a relaxing meal in the hotel's bar and restaurant, and you're just 3 miles from Durham City Centre, with excellent public transport options.
